Tribute to Martin Luther King on the 50th anniversary of the freedom march.

My tribute to Martin Luther King. I teach an advanced Photoshop course at the university.  When we last celebrated Martin Luther King day, I wanted to create a poster that contained his "I Have a Dream" speech, but also incorporate an image of its author. This was done in Photoshop using what is called a clipping mask. I created and formatted the text of the speech, then found an image of Dr. King online, pasted that in a layer above the text, and then clipped that layer to the text as a clipping mask. Playing around with inverting so it's white on black text. Hope you enjoy. Photo credit: photographed by Marion Trikosko in a 1964 press conference.
